Lunch @ Siam Kitchen

Went to Siam Kitchen for lunch yesterday. They have a promo set that cost only S$8.90 (eg. Rice with Green Curry Chicken). You can top up a side dish which cost an additional of S$4. As I was craving for noodles, I decided to go for Phad Thai (Glass Noodles) Seafood which cost S$10.90. We also ordered the Prawn Sesame Stick at S$4. The recipe for the prawn stick seems to have changed. It used to be wrapped with glutinous flour, now it's wrapped with something like popiah skin. Both taste good though.

Lucky Newton Seafood (82 Newton Food Centre)

The stall

Some of the uncooked seafood

Salted Egg York Prawn

Sambal Lala (Asian Clam cooked in Chilli Sauce)

BBQ Stingray

Chilli Kangkong (Water Spinach)

Visited my favourite stall at Newton food Centre for the 2nd time this month. Service is forever fantastic. Food quality - no question about it. I love all the food prepared by them. I just recently realised they do serve Salted Egg York prawn. Have been addicted to this. Whoever invented this dish, I must really thank the person. It taste too good! Highly recommended!

Laksania - Laksa Beef Rice

My first time trying out this dish called Laksa Beef Rice. I paid SGD15 for this and an Iced Lemon Grass drink. The rice is served with sliced beef and there are a lot vegetables that come it too. The gravy I think tasted like its made of thickened coconut milk. It does taste nice. However, for someone like me who cannot live without chilli and does not really favour vegetables, I will not go for this again. I'll stick to my Laksa Goreng at Laksania.

Laksania - Laksa Goreng

Laksania at Bugis+ is the best! They never fail to cook my Laksa Goreng with chilli slices n serve it with additional sambal chilli. Very personalised service! Ask for this to be added if you visit this eatery and love chilli.
