Beard Papa's Cream Puff. When I went for this trip, I had just finished watching Japanese Drama 'Absolute Boyfriend'. The cream puff looks so good in the drama that the first thing I need to stuff my mouth with upon reaching Tokyo has got to be creampuff! This cost ¥180. Totemo oishii desu ney!!!

Cold Soba Lunch at a restaurant near Hakone-Yumoto Station

Sulphur Egg at Hakone. We finally get to buy the egg at the gift shop next to Owakudani Station. Note: Kuro-tamago - a local specialty of eggs boiled in the hot 100 ℃ natural spring waters. The boiled eggs turn black and smell slightly sulphuric. Consuming the eggs is said to increase longevity. Eating one is said to add 7 years to your life. You may eat up to two and a half for up to seventeen and a half years, but eating a whole third is said to be highly unadvised.

Sabah Trip March 2010

Day 1 Lunch - Manhattan Fish Market

Out itinerary has not started. So we went to a nearby Mall (taxi cost abt RM70 from our hotel at Shangrila) and decided to feast on this.

Day 2 Dinner - Kampung Nelayan

The best dinner we had at Sabah. This place has been on a recommended list of many bloggers / visitiors to Sabah. Indeed the food, service and everything is great. It's fresh seafod, you can even choose which crab or lobster you want. You also watch the traditional dance (see below) while you enjoy your food. Make a reservation before you go, ask for the performance timing and request for a table that is not too far from the stage so you can enjoy your food and watch the performance easily. The above spread, including rice and drinks cost us about RM700.

Below are photos of some local snacks we brought back as souvenirs.
